- Skills, work experience, education, and summary information
- Job posting URLs and content you provide for practice
Interview Data:
- Voice recordings of your practice interview responses
- Text transcripts of your voice recordings
- AI-generated scores and feedback on your responses
- Interview session metadata (duration, completion status, dates)
Communication Data:
- Messages you send to our support team
- Feedback and survey responses
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Usage Data:
- Pages visited, features used, time spent on the Service
- Click patterns and interactions
- Performance and error data
Device and Technical Data:
- IP address, browser type and version
- Operating system, device type
- Referring website

1.3 Information from Third Parties
When you sign in via LinkedIn, we receive:
- Your name
- Email address
- Profile picture URL
- LinkedIn member ID (opaque identifier)
We do not access your LinkedIn connections, posts, or messages.

- Provide the Service — Create your account, generate personalized interview questions, transcribe voice recordings, provide AI feedback
- Personalize your experience — Tailor question generation to your background and target roles
- Improve our Service — Analyze usage patterns, improve AI models (with anonymized data where possible)
- Communicate with you — Send important account notifications, respond to support requests, send optional marketing communications (with your consent)
- Ensure security — Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
- Comply with legal obligations — Respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms
3. AI Processing of Your Data
We use artificial intelligence to provide core features of the Service. Specifically:
- Question Generation: Your resume, LinkedIn profile, and job posting content are sent to third-party AI providers (e.g., Google Gemini) to generate tailored interview questions
- Voice Synthesis: Generated questions are sent to third-party voice services (e.g., ElevenLabs) to create audio
- Speech Transcription: Your voice recordings are sent to third-party transcription services (e.g., ElevenLabs) to convert speech to text
- Answer Scoring: Your transcribed answers are sent to AI providers to generate scores and feedback
Your data may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country. AI processing is subject to the privacy practices of these third-party providers.
We do not currently use your data to train our own AI models, but we may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the Service.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only with:
4.1 Service Providers
We use trusted third parties to operate the Service:
- Supabase — Database hosting, authentication, file storage
- Google (Gemini AI) — Question generation, scoring, content extraction
- ElevenLabs — Voice synthesis and speech transcription
- Firecrawl — Job posting content extraction
- LinkedIn — OAuth authentication (only if you choose to use it)
- Cloudflare — Hosting and content delivery
- Lovable — Application infrastructure
These providers process your data only as needed to provide their services and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
4.2 Legal and Safety
We may disclose information when required to:
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes
- Respond to lawful requests from public authorities
- Protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property
- Investigate fraud or security issues
4.3 Business Transfers
If Cadence is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you of any such change.
4.4 With Your Consent
We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:
- Account data: Retained until you delete your account
- Voice recordings: May be retained for up to 90 days for service improvement, then deleted
- Interview transcripts and scores: Retained as part of your account history
- Usage logs: Retained for up to 12 months
- Legal compliance data: Retained as required by law
You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Encryption at rest for sensitive data
